Rallying from a 30-14 hole in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad triumphed by a single point at home, registering their fifth straight victory.
While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff spot earlier on Sunday, the Seahawks booked their return to the postseason after a 24-month absence.
With this result, the Seattle have taken over their division's race with a 12-3 mark, supplanting the Rams, who fell to the fifth seed with an eleven and four record.
